New visor advice?
Hi gang! An especially vigorous BAT session left me with a cracked visor. Any recommendations for buying a new one? I was looking at Fenix Props, but I thought I'd check in here first.

You're looking great!
Where'd you get the visor? I have a black tint right now, but have been toying with red, and really like yours.

Re: Under robe
is there away around using 3 layers of velvet for all of this i Live in TX and summer time events for me would be killer with all that warm fabric on
As written, the CRL allows for velveteen outer robes. Velveteen is much lighter and can get wet. The under robes are to be a "Burgundy or wine ...

Re: Possible outer robe pattern?
I gave that one a good, long look. Ultimately, I went with M2060 (https://mccallpattern.mccall.com/m2060). I used the basic robe pattern for my under robes, then modified it for the outer. I eliminated the sleeves and added width (maybe 6 in to each side?).

Re: Robes WIP
A couple more tweaks and I think I'm ready for application pics. See anything that needs fixing?

Re: Robes WIP
Thanks, guys. That's what I was thinking length-wise. I'm waiting on boots and gloves (both this week, hopefully), before I make the alterations. I did NOT think about a slit in the inner robe. Good call.
Here's the outer robe. I will do the lining next, which should settle down and close up the ...

Robes WIP
Hi gang,
Here are some pics of my robes in progress. I haven't hemmed the inner robes yet, and was thinking about shortening the sleeve length a bit. The outer robes are obviously made from muslin. No hemming here either, and the right shoulder is only pinned in place in these pics. I am planning ...

Custom gloves?
After botching two gloves myself, I'm looking for some help. I'm in central Maryland looking for a relatively nearby tailor who could make me a pair (or even two). I have the fabric and thread.
Any recommendations?
