They are the same type of style as an IB. They do have zippers on them, but they are on the inside of the leg and blend well

Personally, I prefer CP. I find the quality of the robes craftsmanship to be a lot better. I don't know if this the case for all FP ROTJ robes, but they have an awkward seam on both sides of the robe that looks like the creator just took two halves of fabric and stitched them together. Yes. They're pretty much german jack boots, but they're higher than the ankle and lower than the calf. No buckles and zipper is on the interior of the leg. Very nice.
