So I had a day to myself today and I decided to get the inner robe and sash cut out and sewed together. The sash took the longest to construct (go figure ). As no one was home, I couldn't get anyone to pin up the hems for me. That will be tomorrow nights job. So for now, its on my mannequin ...

I've taken a stab at making a cleaner version of Pandora's pattern, if interested. I'm having a seamstress friend check this soon to see if there's any minor revisions to make it better.
Pattern pieces are on 8.5x11 sheets in 1:8 scale.

Boots ! I might have been lucky and be able to use a set of boots that I already had in storage (I have only worn them once). These have quite a low heel on them. Any feedback on these boots would be great :P

So I have cut out he pattern and mounted to card, this way I can reuse the pattern more than once and help other guards in Melbourne :tr2:
This weekend I am gong to make a "mock up" out of cheesecloth fabric to try on for size etc. Again, this then can be used to help other new guards with fitting ...
