Thanks for imput. I'm about 5'6" 178 lbs if that helps. Buying and sewing large amounts of fabric is quite new to me.
Well, with out a pattern and measurements there really is no way to say exactly how many yards you would need. I would guess and say about 3 but I could be wrong you may need 4 ...

The AOTC are designed a bit Different than the ROTS robes. AOTC has more of a cloak with an apron wrap around design vs where ROTS has a Tabbard made down to the floor.

So I've been doing some research and While I can find patterns and refererance pics, I have no idea how much fabric I'll actually need. I'm sure it'll be a lot, I just don't know how much. Plus I need to figure out how much money I need to put away to buy said fabric since this stuff ain't cheap ...

I assume this is an over asked question but I've been searching all night, and can't find a good quality one for sale. I'm not rich but I have more spare money than spare time so I'd rather buy a high quality pike than spend a long time trying to piece one together

Weapons aren't part of the approval process so technically yes. You want to make sure though when you hold it in your hand next to your body it'll go a few inches above your head. Nothing major, just a few inches.
