Everything looks great. All of the angles look spot on from your pics. Just need some paint and strapping.
Keep it up!

Re: JoseMFco's Shadow Guard WIP
Looks good from here! With the pieces slid up higher, you're straps can sit in front of the boot heel and won't be walking on it! Keep the pics coming!

Re: New Shadow Guard in the works
I agree with LT that not everyone's helmet fits the same. Alot of it also is going to depend on the size and frame of a trooper. It would make sense though that someone who is shorter and narrower across the shoulders would almost have to trim their bucket down to make everything else fit more ...

Re: New Shadow Guard in the works
I agree with Kivas on most of his points.
I would really like to see the CRL for this have stricter standards. Mostly having the saberpike and the cut down helmet. If we're going for accuracy, let's get it as close as we can.
Just my two cents.

Re: Spoox's Royal guard building progress
My shoulders have some padding sewn into them to provide the correct shape. Then the foam collar pushes the robes out to take care of "The Gap". And yes, some days it gets a little warm....but that's par for the course. In the immortal words of a Billy Crystal SNL character from years (decades) ago ...

Re: New Shadow Guard in the works
I'm in the process of scratch building the armor out of Sintra. I'm also doing a horrible job of posting progress picks. I have some patterns made, and they've been pretty useful.
If you have anyquestions please feel free to ask, I have a good amount of info I can send you.

Re: Spoox's Royal guard building progress
Nice work Spoox! Here are some pics of my solution to "The Gap". This is a foam collar I made. The pics speak for themselves, and the black fabric is a synthetic silk (cheap) that I attached to the top side of the collar. This way the under robe doesn't "stick" to it and allows for better movement ...

Re: How's This for the Forcepike Blade!
Jester is talking about me. As I posted in another thread, I have another Garrison mate who is looking at making the saber that can slide down inside a PVC pipe and the decked out accordingly.
