Piggybacking on some of these thoughts...
-I was honestly surprised that Karanja wrote back at all, let alone so quickly, and I absolutely did not want to pester him with more questions. I think we have to take his description of the undersuit at face value because 1. He is a stuntman, and most ...

Re: Skirting material
Good find again, I must say I originally went with a much lighter fabric for my skirt and I'm kind of regretting it.... a heavier fabric creates less of a draped, flowing look and has doesn't need to be ironed every time I take it out of the bin! I got a swatch of this stuff a while back and I ...

Re: Praetorian Guard Shirt / Neck area garment
Here is my very brief, but very informational convo with Karanja Yorke! He was a delight! I put messages out to a couple other stuntmen who were guards, but he is the only one who has replied thus far.

Re: Skirting material
That actually looks super close!! I'm wondering if you could hit it with a wire brush or some sandpaper and try to give it more of that fuzzy appearance seen in a lot of the photos. Re: Praetorian Guard Shirt / Neck area garment
Question for anybody that has seen the costume in person: Would you describe the shirt as being more matte or more glossy? The flash and different lighting in the photos make it difficult to tell, I'm curious what a first hand impression was.....

Re: Questions on CRL development
For those of us with some free time on our hands, is there any way we can get involved and help in creating the CRL? Are there photos that need to be found still or other research on specific costume parts still needed? Is there a channel to properly submit drafts or volunteer to write copy for the ...

Re: Praetorian Guard Shirt / Neck area garment
Do we have any photos of the actors in costume with the helmets off? I feel like I saw one a while back but can't find it anywhere! Curious if that might give us any more clues about the tunic.
