Questions on THE pattern...

I really need to rebuild my costume and need some questions answered.

How is everyone cutting this pattern?
I have seen the pattern, but how is everyone printing it large enough to use on the fabric? Or are you just sketching it yourselves? Is there a file good enough to take to a print shop?

On ...

I'm assuming these harnesses are set up on your backs.
Are they noticeable? ie, can fans see the pack on you while trooping?

Re: How to make the air in a DON POST helmet ??????? HELP

I just bought a new fan. Haven't installed it yet, but I'll report on it later.

I've had a chance to troop with the Mighty Mike fan above. Don't like it.
It is loud, but I can still hear people. Nice, pre assembled design, but it doesn't move the air like I need it to ...

Re: How to make the air in a DON POST helmet ??????? HELP

I used to have a high powered compact squirrel cage fan that was velcroed under my visor. Battery pack was below that and a push button switch was operated on the inside front point of the helmet. 1 9V ran for 2 hours. Worked great until the fan stopped working. Can't find the same fan anywhere ...

Re: Forcepike build question

Saw these at wal-mart and thought they might be a good start fora forcepike. would love some opinions on this. If not I'll go with the pool stick i have seen a lot of people go with.

Not sure about these for the pike. The "shock absorbers" will stick out. I started with the pool cue and later ...

Re: Where to find boots?

Hi,
Not sure if you've found your boots yet... but imperialboots.com seems pretty decent. He custom makes them to your sizes...calf size, ankle size, etc..

Send him an email asking for specifics if you like, but I'll be ordering boots and gloves from him shortly. He has both the jack boots and the ...

Re: Cloak patterns

I had originally used a McCalls's M4310 pattern and modified it to have the overlapping feature. It was approved previously (need to review that). It is basically a woman's cloak, minus the hood and extended for my height. The pattern is no longer vaialable, but there are a few places that still ...
