Hey guys, what is the best way to go in the glove department. I was going to make them out of left over velvet, But I think that would get to hot.

This is a good question. I'd also like to know. And how close the color of the gloves needs to be to the inner robe.

I'd think you'd want them to be damned close. Makes an argument for finding the prefect gloves first, and then finding the under robe material based on that

Indeed it does. I'm trying to find a helmet first and then buying the outer cloak material to see if I can get by without having to repaint the helmet.

ROTJ Gloves will need to be velvet for approval pictures and official LFL events.

I think the third one down looks great. Good price, too!

IF they fit your hands they should be ok as long as they aren't crushed velvet or have a shine/lustre to them...

Ok well that solves my problem . if I make the gloves itch the left over velvet for approval and cannon events, then I could wear something a little more comfortable for non cannon events.

I personally frown on alternative gloves. Something thing about being the Sovereign Protector and the Standards they hold. Gloves in general are hot.
