Today at SWW Steve came up to us and commented that the guards are the most difficult to find references for. He used mine as an example and pointed out that the only things missing were a leather strap type belt over the top of the sash, and the boots should be a flat soled slipper-like shoes (he described them as like cowboy boots...) with a rust-brown color.

I feel rather good about that...

Hmm, Maybe I should send him a binder of all the references we have gathered on the guard. In reference to the boots, finding flat sole boots are gonna be next to hard to find with out a heel. The black boots you wear are that of the EP2 guard. I can't wait to hear his comments on my PINK GUARD at STAR WARS FAN DAYS.

Serious lack of guards this year at SWW! Only two of us max, and I was alone every sunday.

The original ROTJ Guards actually used slippers. Not practical for what we do.

Yeah that would really hurt your feet after a long troop.
