Hello everyone,

I just recently got my Royal Guard approved and not even a week later I decided to start another Guard :D

After some printing I have already finished printing the helmet

I decided to make the full version, without the removable face plate but unfortunately, I made the dumb mistake of printing it a tad too small so it doesn’t fit over my head. :geez:

So now, I will have to take a dremel to saw off the faceplate and reattach it with magnets or velcro. You learn as you go :D

In addition to the helmet I also printed the force pike from Neburindustries over on Thingiverse. The M6 rod inside works pretty good.

I want to have both the force pike and the Paladin rifle, so I’ll start working on that soon.

Also, I have been looking at different materials for the outer robes and have found one I think could work.

I know it’s easier to say when actually having a sample of the material but I think it’s the closest to being approvable I have found.

As for the inner robes, I haven’t thought about those as of now, so I’ll look at them when I’m ready :D

The last thing I have researched are the boots. In the Senate Guard CRL they are Jack boots, but the problem about those is that I can’t find a single damn pair on the internet that’s affordable for me (at least as of now).
That’s why I wanted to ask if anyone knows if I could technically use my TFU Royal Guard Boots here.

They may be higher than Jack boots but for the height the Senate Guard CRL only states that they should be at least high enough to cover the wearers ankles, so it should work in theory.
They also don’t have any straps or decorations and all the stitches match the jack boots too.

That’s everything for now,
Cheers :D
